CMS Official to Appear on Talk-Ten-Tuesday

Denise Buenning, Director of Administrative Simplification Group, at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)’ Office of E-Health Standards and Services, is scheduled to appear on Talk-Ten-Tuesday tomorrow (Jan. 10, 2012) when the live podcast airs at 10 a.m. eastern.

 

Chuck Buck, publisher of ICD10monitor and program co-host, made the announcement. Buenning, who appeared on last year’s popular ICD10monitor roundtable, is responsible for CMS’ ICD-10 Program Management Office, HIPAA transaction and code set enforcement, and HIPAA Administrative Simplification.

Also appearing on tomorrow’s 30-minute show will be Annie Boyton, Director of 5010/ICD-10 Communications Adoption and Training for UnitedHealth Group. She will be joined by Stanley Nachimson, principal of Nachimson Advisors, LLC, who will discuss 5010.

Rounding out the program will be David Block, MD, PhD, partner in the firm of Health Care Mediation, LLC, who will discuss the human equation in the transition to ICD-10, according to Buck.

Kim Charland, vice president of consulting for Medical Learning Incorporated, co-hosts along with Buck.
