ICD-10monitor and Contexo Media Forge New Partnership


Two of the leading publishers of healthcare news — Contexo Media and — have formed an editorial partnership to help further awareness of the implementation of ICD-10.

“ICD-10 implementation is less than two years away,” said Jerry Okabe, Contexo’s general manager. “Our new partnership with ICD10monitor will give our clients a 360 degree view of the readiness assessment and preparedness measures they'll need to enact in order to hit the ground running in October of 2013."

The partnership allows for Contexo clients to have access to the editorial content produced by ICD-10, including its popular weekly half-hour podcast called Talk-Ten-Tuesday. As part of the arrangement, Lauri Gray, CPC, RHIT, clinical technical editor of coding and reimbursement print and electronic products for Contexo, joins the ICD-10monitor editorial board. Her first article will appear on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011.
